Pet Amenities & Activities Around Midtown

If you're worried about keeping your pet in a high-rise apartment in the middle of the city, don't be. In addition to Park Central’s own facilities, our pet-friendly apartments are near many resources available for pet-parents around Midtown Raleigh.

Every dog owner knows the importance of exercising their pet. When it's time for your pup to release some energy, take a two-minute walk around the block to the North Hills Dog Park, located just across the street from Harris Teeter on the corner of St. Albans Drive and Dartmouth Road. We also have easy access to the Capital Area Greenway and other walkable spaces within North Hills. For even more outdoor adventures, there are three additional Raleigh bark parks all within a 15 minute drive of your apartment – Millbrook Dog Park, Buffaloe Road Dog Park and Oakwood Dog Park.

Our on-site pet washing station and dog spa is outfitted with professional grooming equipment in case your trip to the park results in a detour through a puddle or two. If you’d prefer to leave pet hair care and grooming to the experts, there are a number of nearby options including Woof Gang Bakery, Dogtopia of North Raleigh, All About Pets Grooming and Planet Poochie. For additional pet supplies and products, check out Phydeaux, Unleashed, Pet Supplies Plus and PetPeople – all just a short car ride away. Pet Policy FAQs

How many pets are permitted in my Park Central home?
In consideration for your fellow community residents, please restrict occupancy to no more than two pets per apartment.

Are there fees to have a pet?

Yes, there is a monthly pet rent of $25/pet. In addition, there is a one-time non-refundable fee upon move-in:

One Pet - $400 one-time fee

Two Pets - $600 one-time fee

Is there a weight or size limit for my dog?

There are no weight or size limitations, we welcome all shapes and sizes.

Are there any breed restrictions?

To ensure the well-being of all Park Central residents and pets, aggressive dog breeds are prohibited.
